Job placement officer with the Task Force; lifelong resident of NOLA; Lynnwood Ashley passed on Monday, August 29, 2005, a victim of Hurricane Katrina. Age 51. Father of Lynnwood Ashley, Jr. and Corey ""Pedro'' Robinson. Son of the late Frank Ashley and Vera Mae Ashley. Brother of Charles A. Ashley (wife, Virginia), Frank A. Ashley, Brian K. Ashley, Patrick D. Ashley, Earline Ashley, Virginia Ashley, Lutresia Ashley, Alfreda Ashley Adams and his twin sister Lynda Faye Ashley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ashley was a job placement officer with the Task Force. Mr. Ashley was born in Lincoln County, MS and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon.
