Charles Edward Allen died on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Methodist Charlton Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was 56 years old. He was the son of Alfred D. Allen and the late Geneva Allen. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Louis Allen and Steve Allen. He lived in New Orleans and moved to Dallas, TX. after Hurricane Katrina. He attended public school in New Orleans and was a member of St. Paul C.B.C., pastored by Rev. James Russ. He is survived by his father, Alfred D. Allen, 2 brothers Anthony Allen and Joseph Charles Allen, 4 sisters Virginia Allen, Brenda Allen, Janice Thomas and Cathy Allen Dright, 2 daughters Charlene Benson and Keyera Richardson, 1 son Charles Noel, 8 step-children Kaparmpare and Carasha Isaac, Nivershawn and Michelle Noel, Torrence, Romalous, Dwayne and Maurice Richardson, 12 grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws Earline Henry Allen and Lisa Singleton, 1 brother-in-law Lloyd Dright, 1 son-in-law Brian Benson, a host of nieces, nephews, 7 aunts, 2 uncles, cousins and a long-time friend Peggy Lodge. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing of the remains from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Majestic Mortuary is in charge - 1833 Aretha Castle Haley Blvd., New Orleans, La. 70113.
